Collect and Connect to Nature with Coop Local Community Fund

We have been lucky to be supported by Brookfield (Ashford) Coop this year (2018). Over £5 000 has been raised for the benefit of local schools and groups, to provide subsidised day visits to Kench Hill using our minibus for transport. Local teachers told us that despite living in rural locations, children lack contact with the natural world, have poor eating habits and may lead a sedentary lifestyle. The project will raise awareness of our facility to local users and be sustainable in the future. A huge thank you to the Co-op and members for their support!
