Collect and Connect to Nature with Coop Local Community Fund

We have been lucky to be supported by Brookfield (Ashford) Coop this year (2018). Over £5 000 has been raised for the benefit of local schools and groups, to provide subsidised day visits to Kench Hill using our minibus for transport. Local teachers told us that despite living in rural locations, children lack contact with the natural world, have poor eating habits and may lead a sedentary lifestyle. The project will raise awareness of our facility to local users and be sustainable in the future. A huge thank you to the Co-op and members for their support!

Our fun activities

millfields_largeWhatever the weather, a week at Kench Hill is packed with things to do and memorable experiences.  Bring the curriculum to life with engaging, practical lessons that stimulate real learning.  A country walk becomes a great adventure, while team games such as orienteering foster personal development.
