LATEST NEWS 5 blue tits hatched May 18th, eyes opened Day 11. Four chicks from this single-parent family fledged (left nest) on June 6th (Day 19).

Our resident moorhens' first chicks hatched April 27th, a fortnight later than last year. Their second clutch hatched on 27th June. Turtle doves and spotted flycatchers returned from Africa in May to breed in the garden. A blackbird made a nest in the engine of our minibus!
