NEST NEWS 4 blue tits were raised in the box last year, but it is empty so far this year.
Our resident moorhens on the pond have now had their 2nd clutch of 4 chicks, but only have one survivor from the first clutch of 6. Has the feral cat been eating them? No tawny owls in our purpose-built nest box - a pair of crows squatted it instead!
