Our cooks prepare healthy, nutritionally balanced home cooked meals, using fresh local ingredients where possible, including produce from our own kitchen garden. We encourage young visitors to eat plenty of salad, fruits and vegetables. Many of our menu options are vegetarian and we can cater for most dietary needs, including allergies, provided we are sent information in advance. We cannot provide menu choices for each meal, but do prepare alternatives where necessary. New for 2010! We are now able to supply halal chicken On day trips, children prepare their own sandwiches before departure. We have good quality tap water for drinking.
Meals
Breakfast - Cereals, toast, hot choices eg porridge, croissants, eggs (from our own hens!)
Lunch – Eg jacket potato, home-made pizza, tortilla wraps, salad; Fruit, ice cream, flapjack
Evening meal – Eg Vegetarian Lasagne; Chicken Curry and rice; Fish cakes; Spaghetti Bolognese
Snack – Home made biscuits, rolls, hot milk drink
